My name is David and I am the managing director of Swiftest Aldershot Ltd. We are a busy, family-run MOT testing station and repair business that I have owned for the last 14 years.

We have a staff of 9 (mainly young) technicians, apprentices and a receptionist. My mother and my wife also work in the business so I have little chance of escape!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been mad about cars (and almost anything else with an engine) and I am passionate about my work.

I decided to create a blog about my day to day life running this business, full of (hopefully) interesting facts and stories about cars and things. I am hoping this blog will be a way to communicate with our many loyal customers, and offer a valuable insight into what’s involved in the repairing and servicing of a huge variety of different vehicles.
