You can’t get quicker than a Fast Fit fitter (to relieve you of money)

Despite being the ‘acceptable face’ of car repairs on the high street, I have to admit that the ‘Fast Fit’ centre is my pet hate. By having a seemingly unlimited budget for fancy TV advertising, the general public really believe that these companies are their ‘friends’ and that whatever they say must be true.

Not all warranties are the same. Try Tesco’s for a surprise.

Now,I know I may have had a bit of a moan about used car warranties in my last posting, but I actually have some good news about one product that I’d actually recommend.

Today at the Garage

02/03/2010 I don't know what's going on out there at the moment, but we're as busy as we've ever been! We've got so many cars outside there's hardly any room to park, and it's not showing any signs of letting-up. A Kia Sedona with a broken camshaft is occupying Jamie's ramp whilst we wait for some spares, whilst a Smart Car that refuses to start has us quite stumped. MOT's are booked solid until early next week as all the '07' reg cars sold in March 2007 are all due an MOT at once!

Car of the Week

We've a few absolute beauties on offer at the moment. A 2002 Mercedes Benz SLK230 convertible that cost its present owner almost £26000 just 4 years ago can now be sitting on your driveway (waiting for the sunshine) for under £8000. A bit further down the scale, we have a lovely pair of Vauxhall Vectras, one a hatchback and one an estate. Both have been well cared-for and are ready for a few more years of service at just £900 for the estate and £750 for the hatchback!
